Apparently, GTA IV for the PC is one borked piece of software! The link I posted gives a lot of advice on how to fix the durned thing but not all f the fixes actually work.
This is really sad as the GTA franchise has always been one of the most solid pieces of gaming software I’ve ever run across. I bet a lot of these problems came from all that DRM-ing they put into it.
Freak’n stupid game publishers! I know they’re just looking out for their profits but what profit are they going to make with a borked piece of gaming software like GTA IV (PC)?
