There’s no feeling of dread quite like the feeling you get when you realize that you’ve “bricked” your PSP. However, as an “independent” gamer, it is a risk that we take. Mostly, if we’re lucky, we avoid the dreaded brick monster. If we’re not, we thank the Lord for people like my friend Rod.
I found Rod through the istorya.net forums. If you’re a regular there, then you’ll know him as well. His specialty is PSPs and, yes, he can “unbrick” them. In service to all the PSP-ers out there who’ve converted their PSPs into fashionable bricks, here is Rod’s service offer:
PSP Slim or Phat Unbricking
Meaning: PSP which firmware is corrupted, no display of menu or black screen, games can no longer be access. I will fix the firmware and change it to 4.01 M33-2.***With free 4 homebrew games and 4 applications

PSP Slim or Phat Downgrading
Meaning: PSP (Playstation Portable) that only plays UMD games and can’t play downloadable games, mostly PSP bought abroad. I will downgrade the firmware (software) to the latest Custom Firmware (4.01 M33-2) so that you can now play downloadable homebrew games on your psp.***With Free 4 homebrew games and 4 applications

PSP Slim or Phat Upgrading
Meaning: PSP that has the old Custom Firmware, like 1.50, 2.00 untill 3.90 M33. Those old custom firmware can no longer run the latest downloadable Homebrew PSP games. I will upgrade to the latest firmware 4.01 M33-2.***With Free 4 homebrew games and 4 applications
